Independence Day Fireworks (Held July 3)

July 3 Is the date for the annual Hudson Mills Metropark Independence Day Celebration (map here).
 
Big Pinky takes the stage at 7pm.
 
You can probably arrive as late as 6pm and still get in to see the fireworks at 10pm. However parking fills up, and the best spots get taken early, so experienced revellers will plan ahead and make a picnic out of it!
 
(Note: concessions are usually available for food. Public restrooms are provided.)
 
(Fireworks aficionado note: You can see from this page, that the 3rd-Quarter moon will rise just after Midnight, so the sky will be nice and dark for the fireworks!)
